Board of Directors

EarthRe's Board comprises a balance of executive, non-executive, and independent directors with deep expertise in reinsurance, banking, geospatial science, venture capital, and corporate finance. The Board meets quarterly and provides strategic oversight, risk governance, and regulatory accountability.

Regulatory Compliance

EarthRe operates under the regulatory purview of the International Financial Services Centres Authority (IFSCA) at GIFT City, Gujarat. All operations conform to applicable IFSCA (Insurance) Regulations.

Internal Controls

A robust internal control framework governs financial reporting, underwriting authority limits, claims settlement, investment decisions, and data security. Internal audits are conducted independently and reported directly to the Audit Committee.

Actuarial Function

An Appointed Actuary, certified by the Institute of Actuaries of India (IAI), oversees reserving adequacy, solvency margins, pricing reviews, and product certification. Actuarial opinions are presented to the Board annually and to IFSCA as required.
