Underwriter — Property & Casualty
Own pricing and risk selection for property & casualty treaties across Global South cedants, working directly with our actuarial and platform teams.

You'll be one of the first underwriters building EarthRe's P&C book from the ground up — setting the risk appetite, pricing discipline, and cedant relationships that the rest of the portfolio gets measured against. This isn't a seat on an established desk; you're writing the playbook for reinsurance in markets that mature-market carriers have largely underserved.
What you'll do
- Price and structure property & casualty treaty and facultative risk across Global South cedants
- Set and monitor underwriting guidelines within EarthRe's risk appetite
- Work with actuarial and engineering to translate risk views into pricing models
- Represent EarthRe directly in cedant and broker negotiations
What we're looking for
- 4+ years of treaty or facultative underwriting experience in P&C reinsurance
- Working knowledge of catastrophe modelling and exposure management
- Comfortable operating with less standardised data than mature-market reinsurance provides
- Based in, or willing to relocate to, GIFT City, Gujarat
